Disaster Action Team Responses

On Nov. 26, a family in Portland had a fire in their apartment. When the Red Cross volunteers arrived, they assisted the 1 adult and 2 children with:

--A client assistance card to shop for food, clothing, shoes, and winter coats.
--Lodging in a nearby motel.
--An adult comfort kit containing shampoo, razor, washcloth, soap, Kleenex, shampoo,
toothbrush, comb and toothpaste.
--Children ccomfort kits containing shampoo, washcloth, soap, Kleenex, comb, shampoo,
tooth brush, toothpaste, coloring book and crayons.

On Nov. 30, a single adult had a fire in their house, in Gresham. When the Red Cross Volunteers arrived, they assisted the individual with:

--A client assistance card to shop for food, clothing, shoes, and a winter coat.
--Lodging in a nearby motel.
--An adult Comfort kit.
